STRADA is a nationwide Public Works Act property advisory firm with a broad range of expertise.  Our clients range from landowners to public sector organisations such as Local Authorities and Crown organisations.  When it comes to State Highway projects, we now deal exclusively with private landowners, drawing on our extensive experience across the delivery of a large number of projects across the country, where our people have acted as agents or "accredited suppliers" for the Crown and local authorities. 

We have been involved in land acquisition work on many New Zealand Transport Agency projects including the SH 1 Waikato Expressway, SH 1 Transmission Gully, SH 2 Carterton to Greytown passing lane, SH 2 Muldoon's Corner realignment, SH 1 Opawa Bridge replacement, SH 1 Kaikoura repairs and SH 60 Ruby Bay Bypass. 

Because we have experience working with acquiring authorities, we are very familiar with the issues that can arise as part of the acquisition process and particularly issues around compensation entitlements. 

Crown Property

As a LINZ Accredited Supplier, STRADA carries out a range of property functions for public and private sector clients including acquisition and disposal of land under the Public Works Act 1981, land status reports clarifying unclear ownership and deal with Crown land issues for Crown entities, Local Authorities and private clients.
